2) Uniform Form
Next, fill out the Uniform Form.

A confirmation email will be sent to you after submitting the form. There may be difficulty obtaining your child's uniform in a timely manner if you register or submit this form after April 15th as there is a 6-8 week production lead time. Please do not fill out the uniform form unless you have completed the Wolfhounds registration form. Submissions without a matching Wolfhound registration will be ignored.
3) MYRO and USA Rugby Registration

Third, register with both the Massachusetts Youth Rugby Organization and USA Rugby for 2026 via the Rugby Xplorer application. Step by step directions for this registration can be found just below in the Downloads area on this page. Please also review the MYRO Code of Conduct in the Downloads area.
4) USA Rugby Age Verification
Fourth, USA Rugby requires age verification for all players. This is a one-time process, so if you completed the age verification in prior years, you do NOT need to redo this step. After you complete it for this year, you will NOT need to do so again next year.
To complete the age verification if you have not previously done it, after you have completed registration in Rugby Xplorer, you will soon thereafter (not immediately) receive an email titled "USA Youth and High School Rugby Document Upload & Verification Mail" from USA Youth and High School Rugby. The email will have instructions on how to take care of the age verification process which just entails uploading a birth certificate or any other form of government ID. (Ignore the fact that the text on the page tells you to upload 2 documents - it is a mistake - they just want 1.) The email will look like the Verification Email image to the right and will come from info@yhsverification.rugby.
Click on the button in the email, and the system will prompt you to upload the document. The system does not indicate on the screen that you have been successful, but you should receive a confirmation email once USA Rugby has verified the age - this will not come immediately; it will arrive a few days later. The confirmation email will be titled "USA Youth and High School Rugby Document Approval Mail" and look like the Verification Confirmation Email image to the right and come from info@yhsverification.rugby. Retain this email for the season.

5) SafeSport Training - Only For Players Older than 18
Any players over the age of 18 MUST complete SafeSport training. This includes players who start the season at 17 and turn 18 during the season (birth date before July 26, 2008). By USA Rugby rules, players cannot compete in games until they have completed this training as soon as they turn 18. I.e. If you turn 18 on a Monday during the season, you must complete this training by Friday to be able to compete on Saturday.
There are no exceptions per USA Rugby, and this will be enforced by Mass Youth Rugby in 2026. Please complete this training in a timely manner to prevent disappointment.
The link to this training can be found on the Accreditations section of the "My Profile" tab of the Rugby Xplorer application (https://xplorer.rugby/) by which you registered for USA Rugby/MYRO (see below for screen shot example). The link will take you to the external SafeSport website where you can complete your training. Once you have completed your training, your training status will display in Rugby Xplorer similar to the image below. Your status MUST be "Current" to be able to play. NOTE: The link will not appear until the player turns 18 - this unfortunately cannot be done early.
